International Revolving Doors is
currently developing a large 2-wing revolving door. It will be available
for fabrication in: 12 foot, 14 foot, and 16 foot wide designs. (See
in the illustration to the left.) In case of emergency the center
sections will break-away to the sides in order to make a large exit opening.
Materials used for construction could be surfaced with bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, or a high gloss chrome appearance.

Bullet-Resistant Doors, Now in Development
| Also in development is a Level 3 protection bullet-resistant door. Security, ease of use, and a smart appearance are all priorities for this new design. This will be a heavy door, but still make optimal use of Kevlar, Lexan, carbon fibers composite materials, and other light-weight bullet proof/resistant materials in its construction in order to maximize both its security and operational efficiency. Extra lighting within and built-in cameras will complete this important door design; all are important considerations for many secure government, high-tech, R&D, industrial, and executive building designs in today's world. |
